Every Joomla users has their favorite extensions, and I certainly do too!   Here is what I install on every site that I create.   Now I have a lot of other favorites depending on what I’m doing on the site, but these are part of my “base” Joomla setup.

Have you lost your super-admin password?  Or, somehow gotten locked out of your own account? If you have access to phpMyAdmin through your web host control panel, you can still get in.  Here is how to do it.

The default user name for a Joomla "super-administrator" is "admin."  But, if that user name has been changed, or you just forgot what your user name is, here is a quick way to get it back.

If yes, how come all the programs about backup is out there, even some that charge money. If now, what program should I use? And are the comercial programs better then the free?
